I wanted an electric bike to make life easier around this area and so I could keep fit. It wasn’t a success as having bought the bike online at the beginning of lockdown I didn’t realise the handlebars were straight. Being short and slightly round in the middle leaning forward put weight on my bad wrists and shoulders. It didn’t make cycling as freeing as I had hoped. But I could have given up, but I didn’t. I sorted the problem and am delighted and pleased with myself!
I find cycling on the road nerve wracking as the traffic is quite scary! But I will continue to fight my fears. They will not stop me being me or hold me back. I’ve spend too many years being fearful!
As it says in Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Don't give up, put your trust and hope in God. He will sustain you in the hard dark time, and you will come through!
